Volunteer with Us

Volunteers are essential to the success of our organisation. Most of our volunteers are motivated by a strong desire to provide their time, energy, and talents to a worthy cause.

There are several ways you may volunteer with Fight ENDO Foundation. Some people may want to help fundraise at events, others may wish to join our Community Network and use their lived experience to inform the work we do, while others may want to train as a telephone support person to support people who are going through a similar endometriosis experience to theirs.

How can I sign up as a volunteer?

Applying for a posted volunteer position
Please follow the guidelines on our volunteer opportunities page to learn about open positions. Each open position will have a detailed job description, contact information, and application instructions.

What advantages can volunteer offer?

Volunteering may be a terrific opportunity to make new friends and have a lot of fun. Many volunteers also benefit from gaining new skills and work experience, which can help them achieve future paid employment.

By contributing their abilities to our cause, some volunteers derive joy from putting their current expertise or professional skills to good use.

Who is the Fight ENDO volunteers?

Volunteers from various walks of life serve alongside us. Students and youth obtain job experience and skills via volunteerism. Others volunteer after retiring from the job market and to get new experience. Many of our volunteers are retired individuals who are eager to put their skills and newly acquired spare time to good use.

How much available time do I have?

Our volunteers are allowed to determine their own degree of involvement, so long as they adhere to Volunteering Australia’s criteria (a maximum of 16 hours per week). Before engaging in any activity, it is the volunteer’s obligation to determine the amount of time and effort required to complete the work and to commit to doing so.

What expertise and experience do I require?

Many volunteer positions do not require experience or specialised abilities. If you would like to work at one of our events or try your hand at fundraising, for instance, we will give the necessary training and information.

Office-based administrative support positions may need proficiency with the computer, the telephone, and customer service. We provide position descriptions for all our volunteer positions, outlining the necessary skills and experience.

What help and training will I receive?

We strive to recruit volunteers with the required skills and expertise for each position description. We give continuous volunteers with orientation and training appropriate to their roles. All long-term volunteers have access to our learning and development programme and can discuss their unique training and development requirements with their supervisor or the Volunteer Recruiting Officer.
Every new volunteer will have access to a more experienced volunteer for guidance.
